Magnificent, lovely breakfasts with a wonderful view of the Tyne bridge and a nice relaxed atmosphere, as example. Spotless and cheap room, good size bathroom with a tub. Stunning and favourable location, next to a Norman church.

Breakfast was hot, I really enjoyed almost everything.
The a double room with breakfast had basic facilities you need. Everyone was amazingly helpful and responsive.

The venue was set in the very central position close to the castle and shops and all main attraction. Also, an 11th - century castle was located in the hotel's area. It was a sophisticated building, the rooms were exceptionally clean.
The staff - some of them were not particularly welcoming.

Location
Needs updating quickly, does not offer 4 star rooms, possibly only 2 to 3 star would be more acceptible. Other hotels in area are more upto date and offer more for your money. Did not eat at hotel or use gym. Plumbing noisy, wallpaper peeling at corners old fashioned tv (silver surrond) Not as professional photos suggest.

The hotel is in a great location for visiting the city centre and for the county court which is opposite!
It's near a train line so be prepared for some late night noise.

the hotel was a delight to be in for our short stay , with lovely views over the Tyne with very little noise.
would have been helpful if the TV and Radio had better reception with a more up to date set. Also was expecting the price of our breakfast to be inclusive in the overall price we paid., which made it a bit pricey .

Recently refurbished accommodation with genuinely professional and friendly staff members. Comfortable location next to the main train line, perfect for visiting Newcastle upon Tyne. 3. Nearby Colonel Porters is a great place to chill out.
